The Old British Steel Pension Scheme

The Old British Steel Pension Scheme is currently in the process of moving into an assessment period for the purposes of the Pension Protection Fund (the “PPF”) and the PPF has requested the appointment of a specialist trustee who has experience of acting for schemes in a PPF assessment period.

Open Trustees will replace B.S. Pension Fund Trustee Limited as Scheme trustee with effect from 29 March 2018. Open Trustees is a member of the PPF’s specialist trustee advisory panel and has extensive experience of taking schemes of all shapes and sizes through a PPF assessment period having taken over 50 schemes through this process since the PPF was established in 2005.
